Bekabadcement plant in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan received a license for the commercial development of the Dehqonobod quarry. Now the company will be able to produce and sell “Sand for construction works” (GOST 8736-93) and “Crushed stone and gravel from dense rocks for construction works” (GOST 8267-93). Products will be delivered to customers in the city of Bekabad and the Bekabad district.
Dehqonobod quarry is located in the Bekabad district of Tashkent region. The open pit area is 48 hectares, and the expected reserves are around 4,4 million tons (2586.5 tons/m3).
In early June, Bekabadcement plant began mass production of high-grade Portland cements - CEM I 42.5N and CEM II/A-L 32.5N.
Bekabadcement is the first cement industrial enterprise built in Uzbekistan. Its design capacity is 1.1 million tpa. In April 2020, the enterprise began the modernization of the grinding facility to increase capacity to 1.5 million tpa.
