BUA Cement posts nearly 80 % profit growth in H1 2026

Nigeria's BUA Cement reported a 79 % year-on-year increase in pre-tax profit to US$236 million for the first half of 2026, while revenue rose 26% to US$532 million.

BUA Cement continued investing in capacity expansion, with capital expenditure exceeding N60.67 billion during the period, increasing the value of its production assets to N1.22 trillion. CEO Yusuf Binji said the company remains focused on operational efficiency, process optimisation, and new growth opportunities to support future performance.
