In February 2021, building materials cargo volume on the railway network of JSC ‘Russian Railways’ (RR) amounted to 16.4 million tons, which is 8 % less than in February 2020. Cement volume for the same period decreased by 5.8 % and amounted to 2.5 million tons.
Volume of building materials cargo at the Sverdlovsk region railways amounted to 3.5 million tons, which is 4.8 % more than in February 2020. Cement volume increased 1.2 times, up to 0.4 million tons.
Volume of building materials cargo at the Krasnoyarsk region railways decreased by 51.9 % compared to February 2020 and amounted to 103.600 tons.
Volume of building materials cargo at the Trans-Baikal region railways amounted to 159,300 tons, which is 18 % less compared to February 2020.
Volume of building materials cargo at the Oktyabrskaya railway network of RR amounted to 3.1 million tons, which is 7.9 % less than in February 2020. Cement volume decreased by 27.4 %, down to 81,100 tons.
Volume of building materials cargo at the North Caucasus region railways amounted to 2.1 million tons, which is 15.4 % more than in February 2020. Cement volume increased by 35.3 %, up to 386,200 tons.
In 2020, the building materials cargo volume on the railway network of RR amounted to 131.6 million tons, which is 6.1 % more than in 2019. Cement volume over the same period decreased by 4.5 % and amounted to 25.1 million tons.
