A renovated filling line was launched at the KNAUF Zvenigovo plant in the Republic of Mari El at the beginning of 2021.
KNAUF opened the production of dry gypsum mixtures at this plant in 2019. The project of dry mixtures plant included a storage system for raw materials and additives, weighing, dosing and mixing equipment, a filling line, transport of raw materials, an aspiration system, etc.
After a year the equipment of operation of equipment, the need to increase the capacity of the filling machine was revealed, which in the original version consisted of two filling modules, with other indicators unchanged.
An additional module has been added to the existing two-module filling machine to increase productivity. In addition, a magazine for feeding empty bags has been replaced and the updated machine was equipped with a side discharge mechanism for bags.
Provided the bag valve was sealed, the capacity of the filling line increased from 360 to 540 bags per hour.
