In 2020, Azerbaijani enterprises produced 3.23 million tons of clinker, which is 5.7 % more than in the 12 months of 2019. The volume of cement production in the same period decreased by 5 % and amounted to 3.22 million tons.
The volume of production of reinforced concrete structures and prefabs for the same period decreased by 4.3 % and amounted to 47,200 m3. The volume of gypsum production in 2020 increased by 65.3 % and amounted to 24,200 tons.
There are three cement plants with an aggregate design capacity of 5.2 million tons per year in Azerbaijan:Norm Sement, Holcim Azerbaijan and Gazakh Cement.
