Concrete prices are rising in Russia

Despite the high level of competition and the growth of supply on the market, the average cost of concrete in Russia in May 2021 increased due to the rise in the cost of components relative to the April figure by 10%, to 3.9 thousand rubles per 1 m3. This was announced by Yuri Voronov, head of the price analytics department of the Kirpich building materials platform. According to Voronov, in a number of regions, for example, in the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Novosibirsk regions, prices reach 4.05 thousand rubles per 1 m3.

Association "Union of Concrete Producers" clarified that in Moscow the cost of this material increased in May by 6-8%, in St. Petersburg - by 5-7%, and in the north of the country - by 4-5%.

The situation with concrete prices affects interests of not only large developers, but also private buyers who purchase concrete for the construction of a summer house or a residential building.
