The cost of construction work in Russia in 4M 2020 increased by 0.1 % YoY, up to 2.2 trillion rubles. However, April showed a 2.3 % YoY decrease, down to RUB 645.8 billion, according to the Federal State Statistics Service.
The volume of construction contracts and other contracts in the construction industry as of May 1 amounted to 556.5 billion rubles, which is 0.4 % less YoY.
As of May 1, 2020, RUB 693.7 billion were allocated from the federal budget for the construction of capital facilities, the acquisition of real estate and investment projects in the construction industry. Of the 372 facilities scheduled for commissioning before the end of the year, 4 facilities were commissioned.
