EUROCEMENT’s Maltsovsky Portlandcement Increased Cement Export in H1 2020 by 57,9 % YoY

Maltsovsky Portlandcement’s export dispatches in January-June 2020 amounted to over 436,000 tons (up by 57,9 % YoY). Over 231,000 tons of cement has been exported to the Republic of Belarus: 220,000 tons by rail, and another 11,000 tons by road.

The enterprise exports two grades of cement — CEM I 42.5N and CEM II/A-S 42.5N. Cement is delivered in bulk, in big bags, and bags of 25 and 50 kg. Maltsovsky Portlandcement also has to comply with mandatory export procedures in order to supply cement to the Russian exclave city of Kaliningrad. The plant’s cement shipments to Kaliningrad increased more than twofold in H1 2020, to 115,000 tons.

In May, Maltsovsky Portlandcement was the leading enterprise in export volume by rail, ahead of Topkinskiy Cement and Sebryakovcement.

Maltsovsky Portlandсement’s products were used for the construction of such facilities as Dnieper Hydroelectric Station, Volga-Don Canal, Druzhba oil pipeline, Baikonur cosmodrome, Smolensk nuclear power plant, Moscow metro stations, 'Seven Sisters' skyscrapers in Moscow, the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, the Olympic sports complex, the Victory memorial complex on Poklonnaya Hill, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, an underground shopping mall on Manezhnaya Square, and sections of the Moscow Automobile Ring Road.
