As of 26th April 2021, Fatih Yücelik was unanimously elected by the Board of Directors as Chairman of the Board of TÜRKÇİMENTO, which is the umbrella institution for the cement sector in Turkey. Previously, this position was held by Dr. Tamer Saka.
Having graduated from the department of political science and international relations, Fatih Yücelik started his career in Istanbul as an executive candidate. He continued to work as a senior executive in the construction sector. He still serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Board of Erçimsan Holding, with Aşkale Cement, Sançim and Kavçim cement plants within its body.
In addition to his
professional experience, Fatih Yücelik, who actively takes part in
non-governmental organizations, also holds the positions of Eastern Anatolian
Honorary Consul to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Deputy
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cement Industry Employers' Union (ÇEİS)
and Board Member of Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK). He is
married and father of two children.
