Gornozavodskcement becomes a major supplier of cement in the construction of a multifunctional center Esplanada in the city of Perm. The mega-mall complex will include a hotel and a conference center with a total area of 165,000 m2. The investments amount to RUB 8.6 billion.
The construction started in the second half of May. The concrete supplier for the construction site is Beton Komplekt, one of the largest local customers of Gornozavodskcement.
The first phase of the construction of Esplanada is planned for completion in 2021. A five-storey shopping mall with a cinema theatre, a kids entertainment area, restaurants, stores and underground parking for 530 cars will occupy 80,000 m2.
At the second stage, in 2022, a nineteen-story hotel will be completed at Esplanada complex.
In 2023, at the third stage, the Esplanade congress center with new restaurants, shops and an additional parking for 670 cars will be finalized.
Gornozavodskcement has a design capacity of 2.2 million tons of cement per year. In May, the plant completed the modernization of a grinding facility switching mills to closed-circuit.
