HeidelbergCement’s Plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina Gets New Separator Unit

HeidelbergCement’s Kakanj Cement plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina gets a new separator unit at its grinding facility. The second generation separator was replaced with a new CTC-110 manufactured by the Austrian company CEMTEC.

Additional equipment have also been included: a process fan, cyclones, feed transport and discharge equipment. The Kakanj Cement plant was designed in such a way that maintenance, replacement or installation of new equipment can be carried out without interrupting production, keeping as many parts of the plant in operation as possible. This made CTC-110 installation especially convenient, significantly decreasing the plant’s downtime.
