IFC is financing a cement grinding unit in Sierra Leone

The IFC is considering a total financing package of US$ 24.0m to Mackie Building Materials and MACCEM Industries SL in Sierra Leone.

The investment will be used to part finance the construction and operation of a cement grinding plant in Hastings, Sierra Leone. The project is expected to increase supply of locally produced cement and improve cost competitiveness.
