Katavsky Cement has renovated its ESP

Katavsky Cement plant (part of the EUROCEMENT group) has renovated gas ducts of the electrostatic precipitator. As a result, after renovation of the filter, concentration of dust in gases has decreased and is measured today at 20-50 mg / Nm3.

The project was implemented in order to improve the environmental situation in the city of Katav-Ivanovsk, located in Chelyabinsk region.

Such indicators are confirmed by the data of the plant's own monitoring system, which is carried out daily, and comply with the standards specified in the Information and Technical Guide on the Best Available Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia ITS-5-2015, emphasized Vyacheslav Lyubimtsev, General Director of Katavsky Cement.

In order to minimize the impact of the production processes of the group's plants on the environment, the group plans to continue modernizing its equipment.

Sergey Marchenkov, Vice President for Production mentioned: "Compliance with high environmental standards is one of the corporate values of the EUROCEMENT group, therefore we are constantly improving production processes in order to comply with present environmental requirements."
