Krasnoselskstroymaterialy Plant Reduced Production Costs in 2020 by BYR 4.2 million

By the end of 2020, as part of the developed program to reduce production costs, Krasnoselskstroymaterialy saved BYR 4.2 million (approx. US$ 1.62 million). All due to a whole range of measures systematically implemented at the enterprise.

Thus, in the production of cement, the use of high-aluminate clay from the plant’s own deposit commenced, making the substitution of the imported ash-and-slag mixture possible. The use of coal fuel for lime calcination has increased, reaching a share of 85% in the structure of the fuel balance. The use of raw materials for aerated concrete blocks was optimized, reducing their cost by reducing the consumption rates of cement, lime and heat energy in the production process.

Krasnoselskstroymaterialy’s branch No. 1 (‘Cement Plant’) saved on consumed electricity and repair works in the process of raw meal production for cement. Coarse fraction is now not returned back into the mill right away, the return elevator is not used. This rationalization proposal of Krasnoselskstroymaterialy was approved by the Technical Council of Belarusian Cement Company holding, the plant’s parent company.
