In 9M 2020, Azerbaijani enterprises produced 14.3 million tons of gypsum, which is 78.8 % more than in 9M 2019. The production of ready-mixed concrete in January-September amounted to 1395.1 tons, up by 4.2 % compared to January-September 2019.
The volume of precast production in January-September 2020 decreased by 19.5 % YoY and amounted to 25,600 m3. The volume of cement production in 9M 2020 amounted to 2.53 million tons (down by 0,6 % YoY). In May Azerbaijan reported cement production in 4M 2020 down by 10 % YoY.
There are three large cement plants with an aggregate design capacity of 5.2 million tons per year in Azerbaijan: Norm Sement, Holcim Azerbaijan and Gazakh Cement Plant.
