In January-September 2020, Saudi Arabian enterprises produced 38.33 million tons of cement, which is 23.5 % more than in 9M 2019. The volume of clinker production for the same period increased by 5 % and amounted to 36.17 million tons.
The volume of cement production in September increased by 17.1 % YoY, up to 4.38 million tons. Clinker production for the same month increased by 0.5 %, up to 3.85 million tons.
The volume of cement consumption in the country for the nine months of 2020 increased by 23.8 % YoY, amounting to 36.60 million tons.
Export shipments of clinker decreased by 38.5 % YoY and amounted to 2.81 million tons.
