Serebryansky Cement Plant Near Ryazan Worked at Full Capacity in 2019

Serebryansky cement plant near Ryazan delivered over 1.8 million tons of products to customers last year. The production facilities were fully loaded, the company representatives said on Monday, February 17. The success will be achieved despite the 35% cement surplus on the market.

Capacities of cement plants of the Central Federal District were loaded by no more than 65% in 2019. Nationwide, cement plants’ capacities were loaded by about 57%.

The plant produces CEM I 42.5N and CEM II/A-L 42.5N. The product line expanded with the release of CEM I 32.5B in 2017, and CEM I 42.5N DP and PC 500-DO-N in 2018. Nearing the season of 2019 CEM II/A-S 42.5N was also introduced.

Over 70 million rubles were invested in Serebryansky Plant in 2019 to expand the product line. An additional cement silo with a capacity of 2400 m3 (3000 tons) was built and commissioned and, as a result, the loadrate of cement trucks increased from 18 to 24 cars per hour.

CEM II/A-S 42.5N is in demand, the plant reports: according to the results of the year, the share of this type of product in shipments amounted to more than 30%. In 2020, the company intends to increase the variety of product brands once again. This time the product line will have heavy-duty cement.

Serebryansky cement plant is an enterprise in the Oktyabrsky settlement of the Mikhailovsky district of the Ryazan region. The plant produces cement using dry process. The plant was commissioned in 2013 and belongs to the ‘SMiKom’ group of companies. The plant successfully occupies 10 % of the cement market of Moscow and the Moscow region.
