Sibcem’s Iskitimcement plant produced 684,000 tons of cement in January-August 2020 boosting its numbers, despite the COVID-19 related issues, by 2 % YoY. According to the managing director of the enterprise Vladimir Skakun, today Iskitimcement, though dependent on the market, is ready to realize the yearly production plan and supply cement to all its customers.
Earlier this year, Sibcem reported that all repairs of the main and auxiliary equipment at Iskitimcement have been finalized. The cost of the repair campaign, which took place during H1 2020, amounted to RUB 362.1 million.
The plant's raw materials base rests at Chernorechenskoye deposit of limestone and clay. Four wet-process production lines currently operate at Iskitim.
