Sibcem’s Volna Plant Products Included in the ‘100 best goods of Russia’ List

According to the results of the All-Russian competition, products of Sibcem’s Volna plant entered the list of ‘100 best goods of Russia’ with its corrugated chrysotile cement sheets with a protective and decorative coating and fiber cement sidings.

“The demand for colored products has been increasing most rapidly recently. So, in 2020, the plant sold 30 % more products with protective and decorative coatings than in 2019. The Volnakolor roofing material is popular throughout the Siberian Federal District; it is purchased by both construction companies and individuals. In addition, we’re supplying building materials for the implementation of the regional housing renovation programs," said Yakov Yalansky, Managing Director of Volna plant.

Colored roofing sheets are durable, strong, fire resistant material. It has high sound insulation quality and is resistant to atmospheric agents, has low thermal conductivity, can withstand high temperatures, and therefore is ideal for climatic zones with sharp temperature changes.

Chrysotile cement siding is designed for cladding all types of low-rise buildings, easy to install and has a variety of colors and textures. And the fiber cement composition makes it completely non-flammable and safe.

Volna plant is one of the leaders in the chrysotile cement industry in Russia, producing roofing sheets, fiber-cement pipes and flat sheets for cladding and fences.
