‘SLK Cement’ Supplies Cement for Construction of Hospital in Omsk Region

‘Sukholozhskcement’ and ‘Omsk’ plants of SLK Cement holding company provide cement for the construction of a multifunctional medical center for COVID-19 patients in the Omsk region. The construction is due by mid-May. The plants have already shipped over 400 tons of CEM I 42.5N to the construction site since the beginning of April.

Sukholozhskcement plant delivers cement by rail, and Omsk plant delivers cement via trucks.

The operation of the SLK Cement’s production/dispatch terminal in the Siberian Federal District was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic but the company bounced back and resumed the activity after the timely implementation of health safety measures.

“We provide prompt delivery in full and on time, continuing our operations during these difficult times,” says CEO of SLK Cement  Andrey Immoreev.

The 100-bed multifunctional medical center will be completed by mid-May. Multifunctional medical facilities are also being built in another 15 cities of the country. The Military-Construction Complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation acts as a developer. The project’s overall cost is estimated at 8.8 billion rubles and is funded from the federal budget.
