Starocementny Plant received a certificate of conformity of the company's quality management system (QMS) to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. Compliance was confirmed by the results of an audit conducted by specialists of the international certification body TUV NORD CERT GmbH.
TUV NORD CERT’s specialists specifically highlighted the absence of customer complaints and claims, as well as the continuous process optimization practice at the enterprise. In March of this year, Starocementny Plant completed the installation of an electrostatic precipitator on a rotary kiln, which helped reduce emissions of inorganic dust eight to ten times.
At present, the plant is planning to install two more powerful electrostatic precipitators and a continuous flue gas monitoring system. The investment should amount to 285 million rubles.
Starocementny Plant is one of the oldest enterprises in the area, commissioned in 1930. For almost a century of history, production volumes, form of ownership, technologies and equipment have repeatedly changed. The company employs 700 people. The plant produces seven grades of construction and oil well cement. The enterprise operates five production lines with a total capacity of 700,000 tpa.
