First of all the furnace of the drying drum was repaired at the factory, after the repair the functioning of the equipment was tested and then the clay drying section was launched at full capacity.
Now the moisture content of clay at the inlet to the drying section is 22 %, at the outlet – 8–10%, which significantly improves the quality of raw materials. The performed repair will reduce the number of cases of clay hang-ups in bins during production in the autumn-winter period of the company operation, which as a result will reduce the downtime of raw material mills and enable a stable retention of raw meal in the silos.
As Vadim Snurnikov, General Director of AO Nevyansky Cementnik, noted:
"After the renovation, the company will achieve the planned productivity of 60 tons of clay per hour, while maintaining the standard consumption of fuel and energy resources. The repairs, carried out with high quality and in time, make it possible for the plant to fulfill its production program on time".
