TimlyuyCement Supplies Cement for Military Airfield Reconstruction

A subsidiary of Sibcem, TimlyuyCement plant supplies cement for the reconstruction of the runway at the military airfield in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The company plans to deliver around 15,000 tons of Portland cement without mineral additives in the span of two months.

The cement, PC 500 D0-N, will be delivered by rail and by road in big bags. PC 500 D0-N is used in the production of concrete road and airfield coatings, reinforced concrete pipes, reinforced concrete sleepers and bridge structures. Concrete based on this cement quickly gains strength, is resistant to low temperatures, and is also waterproof.

“Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the country, cement supplies continue as normal, taking into account safety requirements,” said Vladimir Klichko, managing director of TimlyuyCement plant.

The plant has been cooperating with the customer for seven years. During this time, 60,000 tons of cement have already been delivered to the airfield.
