Akangarancement, a subsidiary of the Russian ‘EUROCEMENT group’, set its monthly production record, boosting output in May by 10.6 % YoY, up to 180,000 tons. As Akhangarancement’s representatives told Cement and its Applications, dispatches in May were close to production volume.
Akhangarancement resumed production in March, since its production lines were suspended in January-February due to a lack of natural gas.
Now Akhangarancement operates almost at full capacity. Modernization of production lines, business processes optimization, and staff training ensure the smooth operation of the enterprise, as per general director of Akhangarancement, Gennady Kulikov.
Akhangarancement, ranking second by capacity in Uzbekistan, will soon launch a new 3 million tpa production line. Its current design capacity is 2.18 million tpa.
