In January-April 2020, Russia imported 521,400 tons of cement, up by 24.2 % YoY. Belarusian cement amounts to 47.56 % of the total import volume (248,000 tons). Meanwhile, export of Russian cement decreased to 71,300 tons, (down by 7.3 % YoY) in 4M 2020.
Among major suppliers in 4M 2020 are:
- Kazakhstan — 65,000 tons,
- Turkey — 28,000 tons,
- China — 21,000 tons,
- Egypt — 14,000 tons.
According to the official statistics reports of the Federal Customs Service, 18.1 % (94,500 tons) of imported cement comes from “Unknown country”.
The largest importers of Russian cement in 4M 2020 are:
- Kazakhstan — 144,400 tons,
- Belarus — 81,700 tons,
- Finland — 17,900 tons,
- Azerbaijan — 11,200 tons,
- Ukraine — 10,300 tons.
