Vostokcement’s Yakutcement Reports Navigation Season 2020 Results

Vostokcement’s Yakutcement summed up the results of the 2020 navigation season, which ended on October 14. During this period, the plant shipped over 148,000 tons of products by river transport, which were delivered to the berths of Yakutsk, Lensk, Olekminsk, Peleduy and other settlements.

During 150 days of navigation, the enterprise shipped 47,000 tons of cement and 36,000 tons of clinker. Cement was supplied to contractors for the construction site of Power of Siberia a Gazprom-operated pipeline in Eastern Siberia that transports natural gas from Yakutia to Primorsky Krai and China, and supplies the needs of the diamond mining industry and other facilities.

Aggregates were shipped in the amount of 40,000 tons with over 20,000 tons supplied for the construction of coastal protection fortifications of the berth in a large transport hub in Yakutia.

25,000 tons of reinforced concrete slabs were shipped from the Mokhsogollokh berth, including 5,300 pieces of PAG-14 slabs for the reconstruction of the airport in the city of Olekminsk.

Yakutcement also received over 36,000 tons of gypsum and cinder required for the enterprise’s primary production activity.

In winter, the company will have to prepare for the new season, carry out repair works at the berths and prepare a four-unit portal crane system.
