Vostokcement’s Yakutcement Shipped Annual Volume of Aggregates Ahead of Schedule

As of November 25, 2020, Vostokcement’s Yakutcement plant shipped 617,000 tons of crushed stone while the annual production plan was 611,000 tons. The products were supplied for the construction and repair of highways in the region.

About 188,000 tons of crushed stone were purchased by road organizations for the needs of the city of Yakutsk, republican transport networks and the construction of the Vilyui federal highway. The construction companies from Yakutsk purchased 280,000 tons of crushed stone.

Thanks to the precise and well-coordinated work of the technical departments of the enterprise, the sales plan for screened sand in 2020 (130,000 tons) has been almost twice exceeded by November 25 with shipments reaching as much as 251,000 tons. Road construction organizations purchased 127,000 tons, 104,000 tons — enterprises engaged in the production of building blocks, and 5,500 tons — individual customers.

The structure of the Yakutcement enterprise includes a cement production, a crushing and sorting plant, a lime production plant, a cement packing and shipping facilities, a steam water drainage workshop, a block production facility, as well as a motor transport, electrical repairs, and maintenance and construction workshop. Yakutcement, as a general contractor, provides materials for various social facilities throughout the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and is a member of the Union of Builders of Yakutia.
