In January-July 2020, Bakharden Cement Plant produced 418,900 tons of cement, which is 0.44 % more than in January-July 2019.
Currently, Bakharden Cement Plant operates a single production line with a design capacity of 1 million tpa. The production capacity of the enterprise should be expanded to 2 million tons of cement per year, by December 2022.
In total, there are four cement plants operating in Turkmenistan, which are all state-owned and are directly managed by the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production. The aggregate design capacity of the cement enterprises of the republic is 3.7 million tons per year.
