In January-July 2020, enterprises of the Republic of Belarus produced 2.78 million tons of cement, which is 1.1 % more than in January-July 2019. The volume of cement production in July 2020 increased by 0.4 % compared to July 2019.
The indicators of the cement industry in Belarus have been steadily ahead of last year since the first quarter of this year. The growth of cement production in March was 10.5 % YoY, in May — 3.9 %, and in June — 1.3 %.
In July it became known that following a decree of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, as part of legislative reforms, Belarus approved new construction regulations, while facing a housing construction surge.
