A subsidiary of EUROCEMENT group, Belgorod Cement has begun mass production of CEM III/A 32.5R. In June, BelGTASM-certification issued a certificate of conformity for the plant’s slag Portland cement.
CEM III/A 32.5R has a highly resistant to aggressive water environment, and has a low thermal radiation. These properties allow the use of CEM III/A 32.5R in the construction of large ground and underground structures, as well as the construction of structures in a humid environment. Belgorod Cement will ship the new product in bulk by cement trucks.
In late April, Belgorod Cement commissioned a new automated packing and palletizing line for cement with a capacity of 70 tons per hour. The product is packaged in 50 kg bags, which then form 1.7 ton palettes of 34 bags.
Belgorod Cement’s design capacity stands at 4.139 million tons of cement per year.
