ECO-Zoloproduct invest LLC is ready to commission a brownfield project at a former Akishinsky lime plant in Ryazan Region for the production of lump, ground and hydrated lime with a total capacity of 192,000 tpa by late September 2020. The construction of the new enterprise has been in the works since 2018.
The investments in the new enterprise amount to RUB 3.7 billion. Investors plan to invest additional 2.2 billion rubles in the construction of the second phase until 2023.
The first phase is currently underway with the new equipment being set up. The production line will include a 50 meter high shaft furnace, a vertical roller mill for grinding quicklime, and a lime hydration plant.
The main task for the company now is to bring experts from abroad to set up part of the foreign equipment, as per Deputy General Director of EСO-Zoloproduct invest, Danil Nilov.
The Government of the Ryazan Region announced its intention to list ECO-Zoloproduct invest’s project in the investor support program and suggested the company should apply for tax benefits. ECO-Zoloproduct invest is one of the main market players in the Central, Southern and Ural regions of Russia, selling about 200,000 tons of ash and slag products per year.
