The enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan produced 1.9 million tons of cement in January-June 2020 (up by 2.4 % YoY). The export volume of Tajik cement in H1 2020 amounted to over 670,000 tons (up by 6.2 % YoY).
The main partners of Tajikistan are Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan imported 333,600 tons of cement, Afghanistan — 294,600 tons, and Kyrgyzstan — 44,700 tons.
Tajik cement export in 5M 2020 amounted to 500,300 tons (down by 19.2 % YoY). In 2019, enterprises of the republic produced 4.2 million tons of cement.
