Freight One (rus. — PGK) has started offering its services on the Russian Railways’ electronic trading platform ETP GP listing 850 cement hoppers. Six models of hoppers are available for order varying in body volume (56-65 tons) and carrying capacity (70-73 tons).
The main customers of Freight One are expected to be representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, as per Andrei Kravets, Deputy General Director for Commerce at Freight One. The company’s hoppers will deliver cement, gypsum, marble, dolomite flour, silica sand, and granulated slag.
Freight One has been cooperating with ETP GP since March 2018. Freight One also offers flatcars and covered wagons, including 174 m3 box cars (with a carrying capacity of 68 tons).
This June Freight One reported a 2,5 times YoY increase in transportation volume of HeidelbergCement’s products in 5M 2020, up to 56,500 tons.
Freight One is the largest private rail freight operator in Russia, providing a full range of cargo transportation services. Freight One manages 109,000 units of rolling stock, including gondola cars and hoppers. The regional network of the company is represented by branches in Russia, Kazakhstan and Finland.
