Kazan Concrete Goods Plant Put up for Sale Again Due to Bankruptcy

The concrete goods plant in Kazan owned by ‘Kulonstroy’ company was put up for sale again. The company is part of the largest industrial construction organization of the Republic of Tatarstan ‘ZAO Kulonstroy’. In the second half of December 2019, an announcement on the sale of the plant for 895 million rubles was posted on the Avito — the Russian classified advertisements service. The enterprise has already been up for sale in May 2019, and before that the plant was put up for sale in December 2017 for 920 million rubles.

Two plots of land with a total area of 43,959 m2 are up for sale. The plant’s production facility occupies a total area of 10,710.2 m2. According to the ad, all the property belongs to ‘Invest Stroy K’ company, which belongs to the head of the Kulonstroy group Albert Fakhrutdinov.

Kulonstroy plant started operation in 2000. Since 2017, when the enterprise received only 535,000 rubles of net profit in twelve months, the owners are trying to sell it. At the moment, two more enterprises of ‘ZAO Kulonstroy’ are undergoing the liquidation process. At the same time, the industrial construction company itself was declared bankrupt by the decision of the Tatarstan arbitration court on September 5, 2017. ‘ZAO Kulonstroy’ is still in the process of liquidation and is listed in the Federal Register as ‘Debtor’.
