In 2020, the Bezmeiinsky reinforced concrete products plant in Ashgabat intends to produce 3,500 tons of refractory bricks. This is the first company in Turkmenistan to establish the production line of such products.
The refractory bricks production line at Bezmeyinsky plant launched several months ago and already managed to produce about 1,500 tons of refractory bricks. The plant is a subdivision of the state-owned enterprise Türkmendemirbetonönümleri, which is part of the state holding Türkmensenagat [Turkmenprom], which controls all state cement plants in the country.
The refractory bricks the plant produces are used for all types of furnaces, kilns, gas ducts, and household chimneys.
The main component in the production is refractory kaolinite from a deposit in the Balkan region [welayat] of Turkmenistan. The use of fireclay raw materials allows products to withstand temperatures above 1200 Celsius, as well as multiple heating and cooling cycles.
‘Türkmendemirbetonönümleri’ includes reinforced concrete production plants in Dashoguz, Bayramali and Turkmenabad. In late 2019 President of Turkmenistan invited Turkish holding to build three more cement plants in the country.
