The Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic Muslim Khuchiev held a meeting on the implementation of an investment project in the region for the modernization of Chechencement cement plant.
This is one of the most significant investment projects in the region. Its implementation will create up to 150 new jobs and increase the capacity of the plant to 1.5 million tons of cement per year.
“Despite the coronavirus pandemic and restrictive measures, the financial performance of Chechencement is growing. Taking into account the economic turbulence and frequent changes in the price environment on the building materials market, the company has managed not only to maintain positive dynamics, but also to increase its success,” stated Khuchiev.
According the Chairman, thanks to the experience of successful interaction within the framework of the first stage of modernization, Sberbank expressed interest in opening a credit line for the second stage of this project.
