Poland to Boost European Imports of Belarusian Cement by 20%

At the construction industry exhibition BUDMA-2020 (Poznan, Poland), Belarusian Cement Company (BCC) negotiated the supply of products of Belrusian Krichevsk and Krasnoselsk cement plants to over 20 Polish partners. The export of Belarusian cement to Europe should grow by 20% in 2020, BCC told ‘Cement and its Applications’.

The state-owned Belarusian Cement Company — a parent company to all the cement enterprises of the republic — presented a full range of products at the exhibition in Poznan. Belarusian cement attracted the most attention having the consistency of its quality EU-certified.

According to the company's general director Vladimir Korchevsky, preliminary agreements with Polish partners allow to safely predict an increase in export to Poland by at least 10% in 2020. The holding's export to Europe over the year should increase by 20%. Apart from cement, European partners were interested in gas silicate blocks and dry building mixes.

In January, Belarusian Cement Company opened a representative office in Poland (BKC-Polska Sp.zo.o. trading house) significantly improving the logistics of deliveries to European partners.
