Pro Euro Cement Will Build New Integrated Cement Plant in Uzbekistan by 2023

The Uzbek company Pro Euro Cement will build an integrated cement plant in the Namangan region of Uzbekistan by 2023. The partners of Pro Euro Cement are now developing project documentation. The volume of investments and the capacity of the future cement plant remain undisclosed. Project participants also plan to establish an enterprise for processing basalt rocks into fibrous materials in the Namangan region.

European companies will provide general contracting and consulting services.

There is one cement enterprise currently operating in the Namangan region — Namangancement. Construction of the second production line began at Namangancement in this May, and the commissioning is planned for 2021. The investment project is estimated at $ 49 million. The production capacity of the plant will reach 1.2 million tpa.

Namangan region expects several more cement plants in the next two year period. A cement plant in partnership with the Chinese Hebei Yijia Cheng is expected for commissioning by the end of 2020. PopCement plant is expected for commissioning in the coming summer of 2021. Another cement plant in partnership with the Chinese Xingda Group is alos expected for commissioning in June 2021. The plant will have a capacity of 1,3 million tpa, and the Chinese company’s investments will amount to $ 108 million.
