Timlyuyskiy Cement Plant Finished Modernizations at Grinding Facility

The modernization of a raw mill No. 5 and a cement mill No. 10 is completed at Timlyuyskiy Cement Plant in the Kabansky district of the Republic of Buryatia. Both units are operating normally, as per JSC "HC "Sibcem" — a parent company of LLC "TimlyuyCement".

TimlyuyCement’s specialists replaced the worn-out parts of disk feeders and the loading unit, armor plates and lining, as well as a deformed section of the hull. It was possible to minimize the risk of downtime of the raw mill due to The renovation of the elevator and the replacement of segments of the outlet (worn by about 70 %) allowed to minimize the risk of downtime.

The company expects that the productivity of the mill to increase from 41 to 55 tons per hour.

Worn out disc feeders on cement mill No. 10 were replaced with modern weigh batchers. The new equipment allows for precise consumption metering and more accurate dosing of raw materials necessary for the production of cement. The modernization should allow to cut costs and increase the quality of finished products.

Three Russian-manufactured belt weight dosing units were delivered to the enterprise at the end of 2019 and set up by March 2020. Contractors set up a conveyor belt, an electric drive, strain gauges and a control system with installed and calibrated software.

“The modernization of the grinding facility at TimlyuyCement is a guarantee of stable and efficient operation. It’s a guarantee that at the peak of the construction season consumers will receive high-quality products on time and in the right amount,” says managing director of LLC "TimlyuyCement", Vladimir Klichko.

In April, TimlyuyCement reported an increase in cement production by 21.6 % YoY.
