Atomstroycompleks will increase the production capacity of its upcoming ASK Cement plant in the city of Sysert by 19.5 %, as it became known at a meeting of the government of the Sverdlovsk region. This was announced by Vasily Litvintsev, director of investment projects management at Atomstroykompleks. The volume of clinker production will rise up to 550,000 tons per year. The plant will produce gray and white cements.
The cost of the project increased from 3.6 to 4.8 billion rubles. The main works are mostly complete and the launch is planned for the Q4 2020. Commissioning works began at the enterprise at the end of March 2020, and production was planned to commence this summer.
The assembly of all units of the production line at ASK Cement has been completed, along with the construction of an administrative building. In early July, the plant was successfully connected to the electrical substation. The cement plant is located at the site of Izvest Syserty enterprise, which belongs to Atomstroykompleks.
