Cement Production at Kavkazcement in 7M 2020 Increased by 10 % YoY

According to the results of January-July 2020, Kavkazcement plant, part of EUROCEMENT group, increased production by 10 % YoY, up to 890,900 tons. The enterprise also quadrupled the shipment of high-grade PC 500 D0-N cement.

In early July, the plant began production of Portland cement with mineral additives CEM II/A-I 42.5N. The main goals the product line expansion pursued were to increase production volumes and provide construction companies in the Southern region of Russia with high-quality cement.

“Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the region and in the country, Kavkazcement has ensured the stability of production and demonstrated an increase in performance. Such results became possible due to quality control and systematic work aimed at increasing efficiency at all stages of production, introducing advanced technologies and high-quality equipment maintenance service," said Nikolay Muradov, General Director of Kavkazcement.

Kavkazcement is the largest cement producer in the North Caucasus. The design capacity of the enterprise is 3.4 million tpa.
