Saint-Gobain Expands Dry Mortar Production Capacity in Moscow Region

Saint-Gobain commissioned a second production line at its dry mortar plant in Yegoryevsk, Moscow Region. The total investment of EUR 1 million allowed the enterprise to quadruple its output, reaching a capacity of 26,000 tpa.

The new line will produce primers, paints and spackelling compounds.

“It is very important for us to continue to strengthen our position in one of the key market segments — ready-to-use mixtures,” says Managing Director of Saint-Gobain Weber Russia, Milan Lukic.

Saint-Gobain has been present in the Russian market since 1992. Saint-Gobain operates eight industrial enterprises in Russia. In 2021, Saint-Gobain intends to launch a new plant with a capacity of 60,000 tons of dry mortar per year.
