Subsidiary of ‘EUROCEMENT group’ Expands Product Line with Sulphate Resistant Cement

A subsidiary of ‘EUROCEMENT group’ in the city of Lipetsk launched production of sulfate resistant cement CEM II/AS 42.5N SR. The cement will allow for the production of concrete resistant to the corrosive effects of mineralized water. It will be used in marine construction, or for structures contacting sea water or aggressive subsoil waters.

The new CEM II will help in hydraulic engineering construction, as well as at oil and gas production sites. Sulfate-resistant cement manufactured by Lipetskcement passed all laboratory tests and scored high results across all key parameters.

The Lipetskcement plant is one of the largest cement enterprises in the Central Federal District with a design capacity of 2.3 million tpa. Lipetskcement’s products are shipped mainly to consumers in Moscow, Lipetsk, Tambov and Kursk.
