Akhangarancement Approaches Becoming the Largest Enterprise in Central Asia

Akhangarancement plant in Uzbekistan showed a 16% increase in production in 2019 — up to 1.9 million tons of cement. The design capacity of the plant is 2.18 million tons per year. The company's products are supplied for the construction of large facilities: housing, social and transport infrastructure, industrial enterprises.

In 2019, Akhangarancement — a subsidiary of EUROCEMENT Group — provided cement for construction of: the Tashkent-City international business center, the Tashkent-Vostochny airdrome, the Islamic development center, the Navruz recreation and culture park, the Yunusabad and Sergeli lines of the Tashkent metro, and the Kamchik small hydroelectric station in Namangan areas and other infrastructure projects.

The increase in production at Akhangarancement is part of the overall modernization program the holding adhered to. Akangarancement contracted Gebr. Pfeiffer to supply new grinding equipment.

At the end of the year, EUROCEMENT group recognized Akhangaranсement as the best enterprise of the holding.

“The company’s team is constantly developing in order to reliably supply high-quality building materials to consumers and, at the same time, ensure the construction of a new high-tech plant,” says Gennady Kulikov, general director of Akhangaranсement.

Akangarancement construction of a new dry-process production line with a capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker per day is nearing completion. In 2020, the renewed Akhangarantsement should become the largest enterprise in Central Asia, capable of producing 5 million tons of cement per year.

Now Akhangarancement in the Tashkent region ranks second in the cement industry of Uzbekistan by production capacity. The company has been part of the EUROCEMENT Group since 2006. Part Akhangarancement is a reinforced concrete plant in the Sergeli district of Tashkent with a capacity of about 40,000 m3 products.
