Freight One Ships 2,14M Tons of Mordovcement Products

Freight One Company, increased the volume of goods transported in hopper cars along the Gorky Railway. One of the major partners of Freight One — Mordovcement plant of EUROCEMENT Group — demonstrated a 9% YoY growth in shipment. By the end of 2019 Freight one shipped 2.14 million tons of Mordovcement products.

Mordovcement plant is a leader in the shipment of products by rail within the borders of Russia. In Jan-Dec 2019, the company dispatched a total of 2.78 million tons of cement — a 23% YoY increase. In October, the plant received official gratitude from the Russian Railways, setting a record for the daily railway shipment of cement — 210 wagons. Cement showed the best overall growth in freight turnover by railways in 2019.

Mordovcement is the largest cement producer in the Russian construction market with a design capacity of 10.6 million tons of cement per year. In January, the plant launched a new cement bagging complex with a capacity of 1,500 tons per day.
